BIRD SUET WREATH

Adapted from the Audobon Society.

INGREDIENTS

3 blocks of rendered

3/4 cup of peanut butter - I like crunchy

7-9 cups of mixed bird seed

Dried fruit - I usually add cranberries and apricots

INSTRUCTIONS

Over low heat, melt your three blocks of suet in the large pot. Stir consistently and

make sure it does not boil.

Once your suet is melted, add the peanut butter and let the combined suet fully melt. Remove from heat.

Combine the liquid suet with the bird seed.

Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray and fill the bottom with dried fruit.

Fill the bundt pan with the liquid suet.

Let sit in a cool place (like your refrigerator) overnight to harden.  Remove from pan, tie a ribbon or string to hang outside.
