Rita's YUMMY Blueberry Pie

FRESH BLUEBERRY PIE

Ingredients

1 pie crust

3/4 cup sugar

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1 cup cool water

4 cups blueberries

1/2 teaspoonc innamon

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

Bake pie crust and cool.

Combine sugar and cornstarch in pan. Whisk and gradually stir in water. Cook until clear over medium heat, about 10 minutes. Add 1-1/2 cups berries. Cover and cook about 10 minutes. Berries will have gotten to the boiling point and will have started to burst pretty well. Add cinnamon and lemon juice. Stir in rest of blueberries. Pour into cooled shell. Top with whipped cream.
